I think those stairs would frighten me. So slippery looking - and painful if you should fall down them (which I did not long ago). luckily wood and carpet doesn't hurt so much ha ha. Where we stayed in France it was all marble and concrete too. I suppose you need it with the heat.
I am always extremely careful on the stairs, I know well what damage can happen if I was to fall. They are not actually as slippery as they look, in fact not slippery at all.
Those stairs frighten me to death! To think that we've been waiting all these years for pictures of your house! It looks lovely and like Sandie said bigger than I expected. How many bedrooms do you have Tina? Can we have the kitchen next, with perhaps Dave in there cooking the dinner! I have a couple of photos if Dave in a green kitchen. I have asked before if it was your kitchen but you didn't reply.
My house is just a lived in rather scruffy one I think. The house itself is lovely but we have lived in it for six years and it was four years old when we brought it and it has never been painted!!
I have actually brought some paint from Ldyl's. It was the last bucket so I grabbed it. It is pastel Apricot¬! I shall help Dave paint our bedroom. I have had it nearly three weeks so far :O(
Oh my goodness, if you tripped on those stairs....well, I don't want to think about it! We had stairs like that in our rented villa in Portugal and I was terrified every day. I think David should get you a block and tackle to get you up and down stairs!

You have a lovely house Tina! But after my fall, I urge you to be very careful on those stairs!! It looks far roomier than I imagined. More please!!

Can you take slightly more distant shots so we can see the rooms more complete?
I feel like I am under scrutiny :O)
